Middletown had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 48-8 win over the Concord Bears. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Tyler Galamay produced another solid effort rushing for 128 yards and two TDs. Those 128 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. John Finney also deserves some recognition as he punched in his first rushing touchdown of the season.

Middletown's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Concord, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Coming up, Middletown will face off against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Galamay and Xavier Henderson. Concord does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
