Softball Recap: Irondequoit Takes a Loss

Irondequoit managed to slip by Canandaigua Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 14-1 to the Gray Wolves on Saturday.

Irondequoit's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Canandaigua Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Irondequoit will face off against Batavia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canandaigua Academy, they will welcome Rush-Henrietta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Royal Comets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Gray Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
