72 must be Omro's lucky number: they beat Green Lake/Princeton with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Foxes beat the Tigersharks by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 72-26. The Foxes didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Green Lake/Princeton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landen Waters, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Knaup, who posted nine points and three steals.

Omro's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Green Lake/Princeton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Omro has already played their next matchup, an 81-48 win against Wautoma on the 29th. As for Green Lake/Princeton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Randolph at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
