Game recap: Hamilton High School Football Team beats Brophy College Prep

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.) overcame Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, Ariz.), 20-9.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Tyrell Smith in the second quarter, the Huskies were up 14-3 at the half.

Each side put up six points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 11.

Brophy College Prep's lone touchdown came on a 10-yard pass in the third quarter.



The defeat comes as a step back for Brophy College Prep, who notched a 13-6 victory over Desert Mountain in its previous outing.

Hamilton (2-0) will play a non-conference game against Pinnacle next week, while Brophy College Prep (1-1) will take on Centennial also in a non-conference game.
