Volleyball Recap: Kentridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kentridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Auburn Riverside Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 7th.

Kentridge started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Kentridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Auburn Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Kentridge will challenge Kentwood at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Auburn Riverside, after both having extra time off, they and Kennedy Catholic will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
