Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bayonne). They blew past the Weequahic Indians 74-32 on Saturday. Given the Bees' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Indians are ranked 230th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Bayonne back to even at 5-5. As for Weequahic, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Bayonne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-41 win against McNair Academic on the 20th. Weequahic has also already played their next contest (against Bard Early College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
