It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mansfield Timberview can now relate to. They fell 35-25 to the Anna Coyotes on Friday. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Steven Hall threw for 183 yards and one touchdown on only 17 passes. Trysten Shaw was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards. On the ground, Davin Hill rushed for 48 yards.

Anna's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ziondre Williams, who threw for 182 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 71 yards on only ten carries. Williams has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last seven times he's played. Ace Traylor was Williams' top target, picking up nine receiving yards.

Mansfield Timberview's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Anna, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
