Hialeah-Miami Lakes won the last time they faced Westland Hialeah and things went their way on Monday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 16-1 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by ten runs or more this season.
Daniela Castejon made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Cyeanna Delva was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Brianna Machado was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
Hialeah-Miami Lakes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
