Farmington not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 14-4). They blew past the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats 10-3. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Farmers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Farmington has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Farmington has already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Bushnell-Prairie City on the 9th. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they will take on Rushville-Industry at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
