Volleyball Recap: Makua Lani Christian Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Makua Lani Christian challenged Konawaena on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Makua Lani Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Konawaena, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Makua Lani Christian will challenge rival Hawaii Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Konawaena is set to square off against their familiar foe Laupahoehoe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
