Football Game Preview: Mazama Vikings vs. Henley Hornets

The Mazama Vikings will face off against the Henley Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Mazama has struggled recently with seven losses in a row, while Henley will arrive with four straight victories.

Mazama is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a hard 63-44 fall against Ashland on Friday.

Meanwhile, Henley didn't have too much trouble with Marshfield on Friday as they won 21-6.

Mazama better keep an eye on Joseph Janney. He was instrumental in Henley's win, rushing for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 106 yards on eight of 12 attempts. Janney's longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Kai Montag did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 86 receiving yards.
