Columbus Academy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their defense stepped up to hand the Buckeye Valley Barons a 3-0 shutout. Considering Columbus Academy have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Allison Frickel and Harper Boninsegna-Mullins scored all three of Columbus Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Columbus Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-3-2. As for Buckeye Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 11-6-3 record.

Columbus Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Worthington Christian on the 25th. Buckeye Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
