Silver Creek came tearing into Monday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Brownstown Central Braves by a score of 5-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Not much got past Preston Burton, who gave up just five hits to keep Brownstown Central off the board. Burton has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jerron Miles, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikey Williamson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Silver Creek's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Brownstown Central, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
