Softball Recap: Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies vs. Tippecanoe Valley Vikings        
        
		
            
 After losing to Tippecanoe Valley the last time they met, Plymouth decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies came out on top against the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings by a score of  6-1  in their first game  on Saturday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Plymouth.
  Kayla Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Rylee Mann, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elsaya Bohm, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and a  stolen base.
 On Tippecanoe Valley's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kahlyn Manns, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Tippecanoe Valley  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 12  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Plymouth only tossed five.
 Plymouth's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing Glenn the next time they take the field. Tippecanoe Valley will  host Glenn at 1:00  p.m.  in their first game  on Saturday, while Plymouth will play them later in the day, at 11:00  a.m.
