Volleyball Recap: Weiser Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Weiser was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of McCall-Donnelly on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines came up short against the Fruitland Grizzlies on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-15.

Evie Dolton paced Weiser's offense, picking up ten kills. Dolton got some help from Presley Williams and her 20 assists. Finally, Natalya Hoobery kept Weiser's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Weiser's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Fruitland, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7.

Weiser didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Emmett on the 18th. Hopefully Fruitland paid attention to the Wolverines' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wolverines at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
