Trinity Christian School of Griffin had won seven straight home games dating back to last season and Brayden Yancey did his part to make it eight on Friday. The LIONS simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Holy Ground Baptist Academy Stallions 44-0 thanks in part to Yancey, who picked up 124 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Holy Ground Baptist Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Peachtree Academy at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Holy Ground Baptist Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 22-0 loss against New Creation Christian Academy on the 26th.
