Softball Recap: Los Banos Takes a Loss

Los Banos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Atwater Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 on March 11th.

Los Banos saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maliyah Salas, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Los Banos now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Atwater, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Los Banos is set to square off against their familiar foe Buhach Colony at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Atwater will face off against rival Merced at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atwater is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Merced a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
