Lewiston was the 60-28 winner over Portland when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lewiston Blue Devils took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portland Bulldogs. One positive for the Blue Devils, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lewiston dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Portland, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

Lewiston will venture away from home to challenge Messalonskee at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Lewiston is facing Messalonskee at the right time seeing as Messalonskee is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Portland, they will host South Portland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Portland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Portland likes a good challenge.
