Basketball Recap: JP Harris Key Part of Team Effort in Falcons Win

Faith Christian Academy's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They managed a 60-54 win over Calvary Christian Academy. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their 28-point performance the contest before.

Faith Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was JP Harris out in front who went 8-for-16 on his way to 20 points along with eight boards and three steals. What's more, Harris also posted a 50% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Thompson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Faith Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Faith Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-38 victory against Mountain View Christian Academy on the 25th. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-54 loss against Faith Christian Academy on the 22nd.
