Basketball Recap: Mariner Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arlington, Mariner was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 53-40 victory over the Cascade Bruins. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-37 back in December of 2025.

Mariner now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Cascade, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Mariner and Cascade will both be playing Lake Stevens the next time they take the court. The Marauders will host the Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bruins will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
