Volleyball Recap: Lexington Minutemen vs. Platteview Trojans
Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Platteview Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Minutemen of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.
Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Platteview, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
Lexington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat vs. Alliance on the 28th. Platteview has also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Kearney on the 28th.
