Recap: Northeastern Bobcats vs. York Suburban Trojans
This season hasn't been kind to The Northeastern Bobcats, who are still winless after their tenth match. They had to suffer through a rough 49-14 loss at the hands of York Suburban. Northeastern lost against York Suburban in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 56-27 score last time.
Cj Rissmiller got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry.
Northeastern's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 10-0 Central York and 7-3 Dover (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 61.3% over those games). As for York Suburban, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Northeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. York Suburban also has no future games currently scheduled.
