Soccer Recap: Hanover Comes Up Short

Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-3 to the Biglerville Canners. While losing is never fun, Hanover can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 494th, while Biglerville are ranked 143rd).

Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Biglerville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-1 record this season.

Hanover didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-1 loss against Littlestown on the 9th. As for Biglerville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-0 victory against York Country Day on the 9th.
