Softball Game Preview: St. Joseph Central Irish vs. Fairview Eagles

The St. Joseph Central Irish will face off against the Fairview Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in St. Joseph Central's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Fairview has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, St. Joseph Central came up short against Tug Valley and fell 7-2.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Fairview's offense. They lost 16-0 to Boyd County on Monday.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for St. Joseph Central, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

St. Joseph Central took their win against Fairview in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Irish repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
