Weatherford entered their tilt with Clinton on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Red Tornadoes. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Weatherford's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Clinton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Weatherford will venture away from home to challenge Decatur at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles face off against Elgin, they'll take on Clinton again at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th.
