Softball Recap: Bluffton Comes Up Short at Home Against Ada

Bluffton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Ada Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 12-1. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The victory was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for Ada, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Bluffton will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Emmanuel Christian at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Ada, they will challenge Liberty-Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
