Baseball Recap: Cohasset Skippers vs. Dedham Marauders

Cohasset had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 4-4 to make it eight. They fell just short of the Dedham Marauders by a score of 10-9. The Skippers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Marauders earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

As for Dedham, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their one-run performance the contest before.

For Dedham's part, Liam Dowling made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits.
