Not since 2007 has Aledo lost a district football game. The Bearcats' streak of 66 consecutive league wins will be put to the test by Northwest (Justin) in a District 6-5A match-up of Fort Worth-area teams with 8-0 records.
Aledo-Northwest tops the list of Week 10 top encounters that includes several games that could decide district titles.

Jackson Anuszkiewicz has thrown for 2,105 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for 403 yards and six touchdowns for Midland.
Cal Vincent has passed for 1,879 yards and 26 touchdowns to go with 542 rushing yards for the hosts. Midland's only loss came at the hands of unbeaten DeSoto, 49-43.
3. Cy-Ridge (Houston) 7-1 at Cypress Ranch (Houston) 8-0
7 p.m. FridayCy-Ridge is 6-1 in District 17-6A and trails 7-0 Cy-Ranch by one game in the standings. Senior running back
Trelon Smith, an Arizona State pledge, is the top weapon for Cy-Ridge with 1,293 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns. Cy-Ranch boasts more offensive balance but has a top running back of its own in
R.J. SneedE.J. Thompson (778 yards, eight touchdowns).

Jordan Cooper, a junior, has thrown for 1,459 yards and 15 touchdowns for New Caney.
Jake Hall, a Porter senior, has passed for 1,736 yards and 19 touchdowns.
5. Teague 7-1 at Malakoff 8-0

Antonio Heard, a UAB pledge, has accumulated 1,050 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns for Teague. Malakoff threatens with the passing combination of
