Basketball Game Preview: Shenandoah Raiders vs. Northeastern Knights

Shenandoah hasn't had much luck against Northeastern recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Raiders will face off against the Knights at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Shenandoah came up short against Wapahani and fell 58-48.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Northeastern had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They took down the Golden Falcons 64-46. The game was the first time the Knights have beaten the Golden Falcons on their court since February 18, 2022.

Northeastern's win came from a few key players that Shenandoah will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brody Ross, who shot 75% from the field on his way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Durbin, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points and six rebounds.

Northeastern was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are 11-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

Northeastern's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Shenandoah, their loss dropped their record down to 18-5.

Shenandoah didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Northeastern in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, but they still walked away with a 52-48 win.
