Basketball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside lost against Furr back in November of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Northside Panthers had to suffer through a 59-27 loss at the hands of the Furr Brahmans. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Northside's record is now 3-15. As for Furr, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Northside will face off against Scarborough at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Northside is facing Scarborough at the right time seeing as Scarborough is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Furr, they will square off against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Washington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
