Cascade has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 21. They came up short against the Lake Stevens Vikings on Tuesday, falling 7-2. While losing is never fun, Cascade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Lake Stevens are ranked sixth).

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-5. As for Lake Stevens, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade will face off against Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cascade are facing Arlington at the right time seeing as Arlington are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lake Stevens, they will challenge Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jackson will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Lake Stevens surely won't give up without a fight.
