Softball Recap: Gardendale Comes Up Short

Gardendale lost against Thompson back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rockets came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-2. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gardendale's defeat dropped their record down to 21-15. As for Thompson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-3 record this season.

Gardendale will welcome Hueytown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Gophers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Thompson, they will be taking part in a tournament against Orange Beach at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Makos are coming into the game with three straight wins on the road, so the Warriors will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
