Bonney Lake skates past Spanaway Lake with ease

The Bonney Lake Panthers stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Spanaway Lake 62-13 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Bonney Lake who now have six in a row.

Bonney Lake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Izzy Meki, who scored 13 points. Evin Elias was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Bonney Lake pushed their record up to 14-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.78 points. As for Spanaway Lake, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Bonney Lake will head out on the road to challenge Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Bonney Lake likes a good challenge.
