Basketball Recap: Salem Academy Victorious

Salem Academy's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 40-32 win over the Somerset Academy Losee Lions. While the Crusaders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Salem Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Somerset Academy Losee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Salem Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Desert Pines at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Amplus Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
