Hillsboro entered their tilt with Eastern on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Hillsboro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23.

Tylee Davis paced Hillsboro's offense, picking up nine kills. Davis got some help from Kayla Seeling and her 19 assists. Ryan Wagoner controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Eastern, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Hillsboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against North Adams on the 21st. As for Eastern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Western Brown on the 23rd.
