Warwick had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Solanco Golden Mules a 2-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Warwick's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Solanco are ranked 321st).

Warwick's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Solanco, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11-1.

Looking ahead, Warwick will head out on the road to challenge Exeter Township at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Solanco, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Pennsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
