Baseball Recap: Granada Find Success

Granada lost to Berkeley back in February of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Matadors came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 5-1.

Eli Radack tossed a big game, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, Jessie Peterson was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

The victory got Granada back to even at 1-1. As for Berkeley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Granada will venture away from home to face off against James Logan at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Berkeley, they will head out to take on Las Lomas at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
