Ganesha had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Burroughs Bears a 2-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Giants as they're now sitting on 16 straight.

Not much got past Gavin Moran, who gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Burroughs off the board. Moran has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Isiaiah Ibarra was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Ganesha's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Burroughs, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-8.

As of now, neither Ganesha nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
