Football Game Preview: Cinco Ranch Cougars vs. Mayde Creek Rams + How To Watch

Cinco Ranch is 9-1 against Mayde Creek since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will face off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Cinco Ranch will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Cinco Ranch earned a 35-28 victory over Tompkins.

Davis Roup was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 269 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 46 yards and one score. Those 46 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. 86 of Roup's passing yards were hauled in by Maxwell Williams, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Mayde Creek humbled Morton Ranch with a 47-16 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-6.

Mayde Creek now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cinco Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Cinco Ranch was able to grind out a solid victory over Mayde Creek in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 47-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
