Baseball Game Preview: Millbury Woolies vs. Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers

The Millbury Woolies will face off against the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Millbury will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Millbury's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Advanced Math & Science Academy by a score of 5-0.

Meanwhile, Blackstone Valley RVT unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to Nipmuc Regional.

Blackstone Valley RVT saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Joseph, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Millbury's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Blackstone Valley RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.

Millbury was able to grind out a solid win over Blackstone Valley RVT when the teams last played back in May of 2025, winning 7-2. Will the Woolies repeat their success, or do the Beavers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
