Soccer Recap: Thomas Nelson Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Thomas Nelson was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 6-1 to the Taylor County Cardinals. Thomas Nelson were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Taylor County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Thomas Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Taylor County, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Thomas Nelson has already played their next matchup, an 8-2 loss against Larue County on the 6th. Hopefully Taylor County paid attention to the Generals' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
