Volleyball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

Sterling was the 2-1 winner over Naperville Central when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redhawks on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, Sterling saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Grace Springman had nine digs.

Sterling now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Naperville Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Sterling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Yorkville Christian on the 11th. As for Naperville Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Dixon on the 11th.
