Salem waltzed into their match on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. Everything went their way against the Massac County Patriots as they made off with a 7-2 victory. Salem might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

Caleb Purintun and Eli Baker scored all seven of Salem's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 52 goals.

Salem's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Massac County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1-1.

Looking ahead, Salem will head out on the road to challenge Columbia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Massac County, they will welcome Marion at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
