Volleyball Game Preview: Vistamar Vikings vs. Chadwick Dolphins

The Vistamar Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Chadwick Dolphins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vistamar will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Wednesday, Vistamar earned a 3-1 victory over Wildwood.

The win didn't come easy: Wildwood scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Chadwick unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Mayfield. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Dolphins have suffered since September 11th.

While Chadwick ultimately came up short, they really made Mayfield work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 28-26, 25-22.

Chadwick's defeat dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Vistamar, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Vistamar might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Chadwick in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
