Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). They claimed a resounding 81-51 win over the Talawanda Brave. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Brave are ranked 623rd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northwest pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Talawanda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest has already played their next game (against Monroe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Talawanda has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Harrison.
