Volleyball Recap: Pentucket Regional Comes Up Short

Pentucket Regional lost against North Reading back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pentucket Regional fell 3-1 to North Reading. Pentucket Regional has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 18-25, 25-22.

Amelia Crowe paced Pentucket Regional's offense, picking up seven kills. Crowe got some help from Michaela Gabardi and her 12 assists. Finally, Crowe was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Pentucket Regional now has a losing record of 7-8. As for North Reading, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Pentucket Regional has already played their next matchup (against Triton Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Reading, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Georgetown on the 15th.
