Volleyball Recap: Golder Takes a Loss

Golder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Payton College Prep Grizzlies.

Payton College Prep was led to victory by James Gillman and Jack Colbert. Gillman had eight digs and six aces, while Colbert had 14 assists and three digs. Those 14 assists gave Colbert a new career-high.

Golder's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Payton College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-18 record this season.

Golder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Payton College Prep, they will take on Prosser at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
