            Joliet Catholic managed to keep up with Saint Viator until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Hilltoppers came up short against  the Lions, falling  4-1. While losing is never fun, Joliet Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Saint Viator are ranked 75th).
Joliet Catholic's goal came courtesy  of  Marco Heald, who's now up to four this season.
Joliet Catholic has  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record  this season. As for Saint Viator, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-1.
 Looking ahead, Joliet Catholic is taking a road trip to  take on Westmont  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Westmont will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Joliet Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. As for Saint Viator, they will welcome Carmel  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
