Preview: Lewis vs. Alexandria City
The Lewis Lancers will head out on the road to square off against the Alexandria City Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Lewis entered their tilt with West Potomac with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Wolverines on Tuesday as they made off with a 6-0 win. Lewis' winning goal came courtesy of Jeremy Orellana.
Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Alexandria City made sure to put some goals up on the board against Hayfield on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Hawks.
Lewis' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Alexandria City, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.
