Recap: KIPP vs. Mater Dei Knights
On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, KIPP beat Mater Dei 44-40.
Mater Dei lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nick Lampe, who scored 13 points. Garrick Winkeler was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
KIPP now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Mater Dei, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.
KIPP will be playing at home against Gateway Science Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Mater Dei won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Marion at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th.
